With a 20-year career, 9 albums, dozens of million-selling singles, sold-out shows renowned for their unrivalled energy, at the Zenith and the AccorHotel Arena (Paris), as well as across the planet (the whole Caribbean, as well as the USA, Canada, Chile, Colombia...), Admiral T is a reggae/dancehall artist in a class of his own, a living symbol of Antillean culture, linking gwoka, socca and zouk.

Admiral T has established himself as a major French dancehall artist. The Guadeloupean has a vocal quality worthy of the best Jamaican voices, and the care he brings to his music is also one of the keys to his success. Equally at ease with dancehall and lovers rock, he doesn't hesitate to blend Jamaican rhythms with zouk, soca and rap.

Christy Campbell was born on March 29, 1981 in Abymes (Guadeloupe). The young man didn't have to look far for credibility, growing up in the Boissard ghetto in Pointe-à-Pitre to the sound of sound systems and zouk. At the age of twelve, Admiral T began to make his mark in sound systems, joining the Karukera Sound System collective, a veritable breeding ground for reggae and dancehall in the French-speaking Caribbean. It was at the age of sixteen that he recorded "Rapide" with Karukera Sound System.

The evidence of his talent spread throughout the Antilles. “Mozaïk Kréyòl” was released in the Antilles in July 2003. It wasn't until Admiral T stole Sean Paul's show at the Garance Reggae Festival in 2004 that Universal's decision-makers signed him. “Mozaïk Kréyòl” was released in September 2004, with five previously unreleased tracks. Over and above his committed but non-violent lyrics, Admiral T achieves a synthesis of styles that is the strength of his music. Dancehall, lovers rock, West Indian gwo ka, rap, zouk and soca make up Admiral T's signature cocktail. His strong yet gentle voice soars over all the rhythms with equal joy.

A star in the French Antilles since “Mozaïk Kréyòl” in 2003, he finally made a name for himself in metropolitan France with “Toucher L'Horizon” in 2006, which reached No. 9 in the charts as soon as it was released, and saw a flurry of collaborations, with Diam's and the hit "Les Mains en l'air", Rohff and Kassav'. Admiral T took advantage of his success to launch his own clothing label, as well as performing in Africa at the end of 2008.

“Instinct Admiral” in 2010 is powerful, with Admiral T's voice propelling each verse like a paving stone. This third album also ranks among the best-selling French albums. Admiral T regularly fills concert halls, and performed in Africa for the first time at the end of 2008. “Instinct Admiral” in 2010 amply confirms his talent and popularity. His fourth album, “Face B”, was released in June 2012, and features contributions from Jamaica's Gyptian and J-Mi Sissoko.

On November 17, 2014, Admiral T released his fourth studio album entitled “#iamcc”. This album represents a major musical evolution in the artist's career, as he moves away from the reggae-dancehall style in favor of traditional Guadeloupean music, zouk and gwoka. On April 14, 2017, he became the second Antillean artist to perform solo at the AccorHotels Arena after Kery James. He offers fans his fifth studio album, “Totem”. In October 2019, Admiral T releases two albums, “Mozaïka” and “Caribbean Monster”. The “Mozaika” album is edutainment and allows exchanges with children during their schooling, while the “Caribbean Monster” album is more urban. Finally, in 2021, he released a 40-track album featuring everything from zouk to dancehall and reggae.
